I am currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Marine Claims Manager to join their team.

My client is looking for a Marine Claims Professional with 15+ years experience in the London Market working within Marine Liability, Hull and Cargo. Management experience is ideal for this role as well as an excellent knowledge of ECF and the Lloyd's Claims Schemes.

Key Responsibilities

• 15+ years experience adjusting London Market Marine Claims
• Ideally 5 years management experience
• Reviewing and providing feedback to underwriters and management on claim structure and risk information to enhance underwriting standards within the company.
• Supervising the recruitment and training of staff.
• Ensuring compliance with Lloyds minimum standards and providing support to underwriters and claims adjusters.
• Managing claims within company guidelines and SLA's.
• Generating departmental reports on SLA's and metrics on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Attending market meetings and conference calls as needed.
• Ensuring fair treatment of customers and handling complaints in accordance with company policy.
• Monitoring staff recruitment and training to meet CPD requirements.
• Upholding core values in all interactions.
• Completing any additional projects or tasks as required.
