Senior Reinsurance Pricing Actuary

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a well-established reinsurer in Bermuda seeking an experienced specialty pricing actuary.

Embedded in the specialty lines underwriting team, you will support the team with duties such as pricing model development, providing MI and insight, and managing exposure.

This function writes reinsurance business across marine, energy, aviation, PV & terrorism, specie & fine art, and war; providing ample opportunity to diversify your skills. It will report into the chief actuary having the support of their experience, but also report into the Head of Specialty Underwriting.

This is an opportunity to be right at the forefront of a business that continues to grow, with specialty lines an being a focus of this growth. If you also have an interest in underwriting, this will provide unrivalled exposure to this being based in a close knit underwriting team.

Experience of pricing specialty lines business in an insurance or reinsurance capacity is required. The ability to analyze exposures, communicate effectively with a range of professionals and develop a strong understanding of their organization is needed.

You will have led pricing work, including being responsible for delivery of analyses including presenting results.

Ideally you will be a qualified actuary from an internationally recognized institute or have equivalent experience. Full support will be on offer to those relocating to Bermuda.
