Job Details

Clarence George is currently working with a fast-growing Bermudan reinsurer to find a Director Actuary to join their dynamic Actuarial team. This opportunity is ideal for a qualified Actuary with experience in life and annuities.

Having completed numerous transactions, the firm are looking for someone who will support their continuous growth plans and contribute to their upward trajectory.

Team/Role:

  • Currently a team of 8 split between financial reporting, ALM and actuarial modelling  
  • Reporting into the AVP, this is a newly created opportunity to focus on Bermuda Scenario-Based Approach (SBA) and Bermuda Solvency Capital Requirement (BSCR)
  • Ideally Bermuda based but open to remote working

Profile:

  • 5+ years experience in the life re/insurance space
  • Qualified Actuary (e.g. FSA, FIA or equivalent)
  • Experience with Bermudan regulations, SBA and BSCR is essential
  • GGY Axis skills are preferable
