Senior Reporting Actuary

We are working with a well known global company who are looking for a Senior Actuary to join their team in London. This is a newly created role due to a restructure and is a crucial hire for the ongoing performance and growth of the company. The position manages a team of 2 qualified actuaries and reports in the Chief Actuary.

The role sits outside of the core actuarial function and will be working on monitoring reserves, reserving overview and SII TPs for both Lloyd's and non-Lloyd's business across all products, with a focus on UK and European markets, with some exposure to Northern America. This is a highly visible role that will be presenting regularly to senior stakeholders and sitting on the reserve committee and boards. There will also be opportunities to get involved in the ongoing reserving transformation project. 

The ideal candidate will be a qualified actuary with extensive London / Lloyd's reserving experience. Prior experience managing a team and presenting to boards are also highly sought after skills for this role. Prior audit experience would also be beneficial for this position. 

This role will require you to be in the office 3 days a week and will involve some travel a few times a year.

Salary is up to £160k with a competitive package.
