Senior Actuarial Lead - Reserving & Regulatory Reporting

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Actuary in our clients Reserving & Regulatory Reporting team, based in London but with a management line to the Head of Function (based in Europe).

New role, currently being done by a contractor who is not staying beyond end of 2024 so they need to hire permanently.

Scope – Senior Actuary to take a lead of Regulatory Reporting & Reserving for the EU and Syndicate businesses. Lots of synergies between both areas, inc S2 framework, same processes across divisions.

Experience of reporting, loss framework, familiar with S2 TP. The client already have good knowledge of the EU business from the EU team already in place, hence Lloyds market is preferred but not necessarily essential.

This person needs to present to execs. Presenting reserving results to board and CFO committee. Management for qualified actuaries x 2, plus 2-3 analysts. Must be qualified with minimum 10+ years exp. The students report into the qualified actuaries and then 2 qualified actuaries into this person. Someone with exposure to C suite would be great as this is a high-profile role.
