Job Details

Senior Manager - General Insurance Team

This exciting role involves working within a fast-growing general insurance team at a renowned global consutlancy, engaging with a variety of clients and diverse projects. The Senior Manager will lead the team, develop market opportunities, mentor junior staff, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead client engagement teams and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Provide high-quality advisory services to clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Perform reserving for clients in the Lloyd's / London Market, including for Lloyd's Statements of Actuarial Opinion and Solvency II Technical Provisions
  • Contribute to thought leadership via publications, training events, seminars, and conferences
  • Develop new products and services
  • Share knowledge and mentor team members

Desired Experience:

  • Strong Actuarial function experience, ideally an IFoA qualified actuaryor equivalent.
  • Significant Lloyd's / London Market reserving or pricing experience
  • Knowledge of the Lloyd's market
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and implement tailored solutions
  • Strong relationship-building skills for business development
  • Excellent technical and communication skills
  • Strong project and people management skills
  • Curiosity and adaptability to new approaches
  • Consulting experience and market exposure
