Job Details

  • Key Role in Strategic Transformation: Play a crucial part in advancing Starr Insurance’s pricing capabilities while supporting ongoing business as usual activities to enhance profitability and drive growth.

  • Collaborative Environment: Partner with senior management, Pricing Actuaries, and underwriting teams on pricing reviews, model enhancements, and portfolio segmentation.

  • Technical Focus: Lead initiatives to improve pricing models, automate processes with Power BI, and respond to underwriters’ data requests.

  • Project Involvement: Engage in both standard and non-standard pricing work, with opportunities to participate in wider actuarial and company projects, tailored to your career goals.

  • Ideal Candidate: 3-4 years of actuarial experience, preferably in general insurance (commercial/London Market), advanced Excel skills, and proficiency in Python or R.
