Job Details

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a multinational reinsurer with a strong London Market presence, who are looking to appoint a Reserving Actuary to bolster their London Market Reserving Team.

As a Reserving Actuary, you will be responsible for delivering actuarial insights to relevant functions across the business, to input into their business planning.

Key responsibilities of the Reserving Actuary:

  • Support the development of appropriate systems and procedures.
  • Help forecast technical provisions, reserve margins and reserve uncertainties.
  • Supervise, develop and coach junior Reserving analysts.
  • Manage multiple Actuarial processes and ad-hoc projects simultaneously.

Desire experience of the Reserving Actuary:

  • Prior UK Non-Life Reserving experience.
  • Nearly/newly qualified with the IFoA or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience in presentations/discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
