We've partnered with one of the leading sporting technologies that is involved in creating state-of-the-art technology for sporting events like the Olympic Games, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, World Games, World Championships, World Cups, etc.

They are now looking for a Principal Software Architect to join their Innovation Team!

As the Principal Software Architect, you'll need expertise in cross-functional integration, strategic planning, and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

The position entails overseeing the design and structure of all corporate solutions within the existing framework, while also envisioning and facilitating future infrastructures and solutions to support modern, intelligent services and user experiences. This involves technological innovation and fostering partnerships across the organization. You'll collaborate with the leadership team and various departments, including business, software engineering, hardware engineering, to drive essential systems aligned with corporate objectives and spearhead advancements in the industry. This role involves regular interaction with executives and making significant technical contributions across the company.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related technical discipline or equivalent experience AND 8+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages.
  • 6+ years of technical engineering experience in architecture and design thinking delivering highly available, large-scale cloud services and distributed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 12 years of technical engineering expertise encompassing proficiency in coding across various languages.
  • Possess more than 4 years of technical engineering experience focused on machine learning model development, release, and operations.
  • Capable of navigating the company landscape adeptly, while influencing and inspiring colleagues across engineering and product development.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of software architecture, design considerations, and the principles of a mature DevOps culture.
  • Proven track record of pursuing and delivering innovative insights that drive tangible value creation.

  • Develop and implement resilient, scalable architecture that aligns with current industry standards and business requirements.
  • Lead the charge in technological advancement and cultivate a culture of ongoing enhancement.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to talented engineers, establishing a benchmark for excellence in software design and coding practices. Foster a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative environment, emphasizing a growth mindset.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and teams across the organization to harness innovation across the entire engineering solutions spectrum.
  • Optimize the system for peak performance, reliability, security, quality, and user experience, catering to the diverse needs of global clientele. Actively engage in live site operations.
  • Proactively anticipate future business obstacles and technological shifts, integrating flexibility and adaptability into the system's architecture.
