Job Details

We have partnered with a Specialty Lloyd's Insurer to find them a Nearly / Newly Reserving Actuary to join their team and step in as an integral part of their reserving function. The role includes but is not limited to:

  • The opportunity to take sole responsibility for a class of business
  • Performance of reserving analysis and assist in managing SAO relationships
  • Exposure to all levels of seniority including the head of reserving and chief actuary
  • Support of and liaising with pricing/underwriting/claims teams on a regular basis
  • Project management

Key Requirements:

  • GI Reserving experience
  • Full UK working rights
  • IFoA exam progression
  • SQL experience is preferred but not essential
