Are you a Catastrophe or Exposure Management Analyst with 3+ years of experience in the London market?

Eames Consulting has partnered with a leading syndicate in the search for a Non Nat CAT Lead, this is a replacement for a Senior Analyst and my client sees the successful candidate growing into the role. While the ideal candidate will have experience across multiple Non Nat CAT lines of business (Political Violence, Liability, Terror, and Cyber), Exposure Management candidates with experience across other lines of business that are interested in specialising on the Non Nat Cat side are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as the subject expert for capturing Man Made exposure data, overseeing internal and outsourced teams in data entry processes.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entered into aggregation and modeling systems for Political Violence and Political Risk roll-up portfolios, continually improving performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement best practices for capturing and modeling Political Violence and Political Risk exposures, providing detailed portfolio level analytics to support underwriting decisions and monitor against appetites.

Necessary Experience:

  • Essential: Experience in overseeing workflows, managing, and analyzing large data sets.
  • Desirable: Thorough understanding of Exposure Management concepts and techniques, along with team management experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and a comprehensive understanding of fundamental insurance/reinsurance concepts, slips terms, and conditions.

Education & Personal Skills:

  • Desirable: CII qualification.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent analytical and logical thinking abilities.
  • Positive, proactive, and professional attitude.
