I am currently recruiting for a growing Lloyd's Insurer who are seeking a Delegated Underwriting Authority Assistant Manager to join their growing team.

This is a new role created in the business due to growth which will entail day to day responsibilities of the end to end due diligence process of binders and will support the DA Manager to ensure that business areas meet all the required internal and external regulatory and operational standards in the delegated space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the DA Manager in implementing and integrating the DA governance framework into the business.
  • Responsible for onboarding MGA and third party coverholder binders through drafting, reviews, and due diligence, while complying with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee DA controls and governance for third party coverholders and binders.
  • Support the DA Manager in managing post-bind activities for delegated authorities.
  • Maintain and update the Delegated Authority business monitoring tracker.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Assist with Company initiatives related to international expansion and Lloyd's applications.
  • Collaborate with bordereaux team for timely receipt of documents.
  • Handle inquiries related to MGA and third party coverholder binders.
  • Provide information to delegated groups or committees as needed.
  • Support the DA Manager in various administrative tasks and projects.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurately stored in internal systems.
  • Exercise due diligence in all Binding Authority matters to meet client needs.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as required.
