HFG are currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Senior Wordings Specialist to join their growing team.
My client is seeking an experienced Wordings Specialist (5+ years) within the London Market. This role covers a wide range of London Market lines including but not limited to; Property, Casualty, Marine, Energy, Speciality and Crisis Management so experience within any of these are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking the lead in discussing and developing wordings and coverage for both existing and new products.
- Writing new product descriptions using clear and concise plain English style to ensure the underwriting intentions are easily understood.
- Accompanying underwriters to Broker and Client meetings to offer expertise and guidance on specific coverage aspects of products.
- Working closely with underwriters on a daily basis to address coverage concerns and provide support with risk management.
- Conducting research on potential coverage issues and generating reports on the findings.
- Providing technical training for underwriters and other wording specialists.
