Job Details

Clarence George is currently working with a prestigious Bermudan client who are looking for a Senior Officer to join their Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) and Climate Risk Team.

This person will be responsible for supporting the Assistant Director in integrating sustainability and climate change risk regulations.

 Role:

  • Act as primary liaison for ESG and Climate Risk Team, providing technical support and researching global best practices
  • Drive policy drafting for insurance industry on climate change risk and sustainable finance, aligning with Bermuda's market needs
  • Lead the ESG group and support Senior Leadership on sustainability

Profile:

  • 7+ years of experience
  • Direct and in-depth knowledge of environmental issues, climate change risk and management, responsible investment, and regulatory frameworks
  • Adept at building relationships and credibility
