Clarence George is pleased to be supporting a leading Bermudan reinsurer who are looking for an Actuarial Director to join the team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Actuary to develop their career at a top tier firm with significant equity backing.

Team/Firm:

  • The team is growing quickly. They have a very fluid structure with an all-hands-on deck approach and an emphasis on diversity of work
  • They notably completed a significant transaction recently reinsuring $1+ billion in annuities
  • You can expect to work in a dynamic work environment and gain exposure to senior leaders in the industry

Role:

  • Lead the valuation team in actuarial liability reserving
  • Support the Chief Actuary in overseeing expected asset and liability cash flows
  • Evaluate the Economic Balance Sheets (EBS)

Profile:

  • Fully qualified Actuary with 10+ years experience
  • Strong GGY Axis skills and experience with life and annuity products
  • Demonstrated expertise in actuarial liability reserving and financial reporting
