Job Details

We are currently working with a leading insurance company who is seeking a Capital Reporting Manager to join their team in Dublin. This position is based in the city centre and uses a 2 day in office hybrid structure. The successful applicant will be a Qualified Actuary coming from a life insurance background and have extensive experience in a reporting role. Candidates should have the right to work in Ireland if applying.

 

About the Capital Reporting Manager role

The company will consider experienced Actuaries who are comfortable communicating and presenting.

Duties for this position include (but are not limited to):  

  • Managing production of capital reporting and quarterly capital forecasting
  • Working on a wide variety of reinsurance transactions and reporting deliverables. 
  • Developing business plans and producing business plan FCTS. 
  • Collaborating with a wide variety of teams to ensure quality reports.
  • Great communication skills, written and verbal, including the ability to liaise with stakeholders. 
  • Contribute to all aspects of the reporting model and supporting its development and improvement. 
  • Aid the development and growth of junior members of the teams.

 

Actuarial skills required

The role would suit a Qualified Life Actuary with relevant post qualification experience. Applicants must have a Life background and ideally have experience of the following:  

  • Capital reporting experience is advantageous
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory standards
  • Great communication skills, written and verbal, including the ability to liaise with stakeholders. 
  • Actuarial Qualification (IFoA or similar), 3 years minimum experience. 
  • Post Qualified experience in a reporting role.  
  • Strong IT, modelling and analytical skills
