Associate Actuarial Consultant

Oliver James are pleased to be working with a leading mid-sized pensions consultancy seeking a part/qualified actuary (or equivalent) to join their dedicated LGPS/public sector team in London, Birmingham Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Within this team you will work to lead and develop client accounts, focusing on the preparation and delivery of strategic advice to clients, win new business (if this interests you) and even coach and mentor more junior members of the team. All with a dedicated focus on LGPS and other public sector schemes.

Role requirements:

Part or qualified actuary (or equivalent) qualificationSolid understanding of actuarial and computing techniques used in the valuation of pension benefitsPrevious public sector pensions experience would be ideal but is not a pre-requisite
