Job Details

Clarence George is currently working with a number of top tier reinsurers and consultancies in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands who are looking for ambitious Actuaries across a range of levels including EVP, Senior Manager, Director and Actuary.

Some key expertise in demand include but are not limited to;

  • Actuarial Designation: Hold a recognised actuarial qualification (FSA, FIA, etc.) with a strong background in actuarial science or related fields
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in in systems such as GGY AXIS, MG-Alfa and Python
  • Financial Reporting: Possess experience in US GAAP or US Stat Reporting, ensuring accurate and compliant financial statements
  • Pricing Experience: Previous transaction experience and M&A pricing is highly desirable
  • Bermuda EBS: Familiarity with Bermuda EBS (Economic Balance Sheet) and a solid understanding of regulatory requirements in the Bermuda market
  • Asian market experience and Japanese language skills are also currently sought after
