Leading General Insurance - Finance Operations Officer/SA

Responsibilities:

• Supporting Finance operations activities to ensure quality and efficient service deliverables.
• Preparing payment for policies, claims, re-insurers, commission, expenses and ensure proper approval is obtained.
• Handling AP and AR enquires from agents/brokers and internal stakeholders from distribution teams.
• Supporting to prepare reinsurers' statement of accounts and reconciliation.
• Preparing bank reconciliation and following up on outstanding items of bank reconciliation and suspense accounts.
• Preparing bank expenses report.
• Conducting UATs for finance and business operation system enhancement.
• Carrying out ad hoc and other duties assigned by manager.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance operation.
• Knowledge/experience of general insurance/reinsurance industry and experience in Oracle would be an advantage.
• Experience in working with offshore teams is highly preferred.
• Excellent command of written and oral English and Cantonese.
