pmactuarial specialise in Actuarial search within UK Life insurance.  We have been asked to find a Research Actuary on behalf of a global reinsurer.

Working within the Biometrics team the role holder will be responsible for the following:

*  Develop and maintain central bases and assumptions to support pricing and valuation of biometric and behavioural risks

*  Conducting research into factors affecting biometric and behavioural risks

*  Quantify the impact of emerging risks in relation central bases and develop options to mitigate these emerging risks.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Actuary with previous experience of setting mortality and morbidity assumptions and/or conducting experience analysis for UK Life or Critical Illness products. The role will require at least 2 days per week in London.
