Job Details

We are currently working with a large insurance company who is seeking an Actuarial Reporting Manager to join their team in Dublin. This position is based in the city centre and uses a 2 day in office hybrid structure. The successful applicant will be a Qualified Actuary coming from a life re/insurance background and have substantial experience in a reporting role. This role is on the Structured Reinsurance Team. Applicants should have the right to work in Ireland if applying.

About the Actuarial Reporting Manager role

The company will consider outgoing, experienced Actuaries who are comfortable communicating and presenting.

Duties for this role include (but are not limited to):  

  • Working on a wide variety of reinsurance transactions and reporting deliverables. 
  • Developing business plans and producing business plan FCTS. 
  • Working cross-functionally to ensure quality reports.
  • Maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders. 
  • Contribute to all aspects of the reporting model and supporting its development and improvement. 
  • Assist in mentoring and managing junior members of the teams.

Actuarial skills required

The position would suit a Qualified Life Actuary with relevant post qualification experience. Candidates must have a Life background and ideally have experience of the following:  

  • Actuarial Qualification (IFoA or similar), 3 years minimum experience. 
  • Post Qualified experience in a reporting role.  
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory standards.  
  • Strong IT and analytical skills, including reviewing and interpreting models. 
  • Communicating with stakeholders and other senior management.
