Senior Risk Analyst (Actuary) - London Market

We are working with a leading London Market insurer who are looking to add a Senior Insurance Risk Analyst to the team, this would suit someone either from a capital, reserving or risk background. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead annual internal model validation process.
• Assist in producing high-quality risk management reports.
• Conduct in-depth risk reviews across business operations.
• Maintain risk and control register, conducting regular risk assessments.
• Analyse emerging risks and provide management reports.
• Prepare papers for key committees.
• Support other risk processes, including reporting and ad hoc projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in risk management practices.
• Familiarity with capital modelling techniques and internal model validation.
• Knowledge of the London market, including regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver results within tight deadlines.

Salary: £65k - £90k

Location: London (Hybrid)
