Job Details
Head of Property & Casualty sought by a renowned UK consultancy, offering an unparalleled work life balance. Our client are looking for a qualified Actuary with experience in Non-Life insurance to lead their London Market and General Insurance functions across Capital, Reserving and Pricing as a Head of Property & Casualty.
Unlike most major consultancies, our client pride themselves in offering the best work life balance to their employees, with no focus on billable hours or KPIs, and a highly flexible, hybrid working schedule. They also have no work related to audits, operating much like a mutual or large insurer.
Responsibilities of the Head of Property & Casualty:
- Manage the teams responsible for all Non-Life deliverables, across Reserving, Capital, Risk and Pricing.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with London Market and general Insurance clients.
- Identify risks and opportunities to the business and be proactive in both maintaining and further developing profitability.
Key Experience of the Head of Property & Casualty
- IFoA (or equivalent) Qualified Actuary.
- Extensive Non-Life experience, preferably in Lloyds/London Market.
- Proven leadership experience in an Actuarial role within Non-Life insurance.
