Senior Pricing Actuarial Analyst

Join a leading specialty insurance company as a Senior Analyst/Pricing Actuary! In this role, you will be an integral part of the actuarial team, providing pricing support to the underwriting team, advising on risk selection, and supporting business reporting needs.

Your key accountabilities will include developing, reviewing, and enhancing pricing models for each line of business, supporting underwriters to assess pricing adequacy on individual accounts, monitoring class and business performance, and adapting pricing techniques to achieve organizational targets. You will also build effective working relationships with the underwriting department, provide training and support to underwriting teams, examine historic loss information across portfolios, assist with the actuarial elements of the business planning process, parameterize the internal model, conduct ad hoc analyses to support management, and manage and collaborate on group-wide pricing projects.

To excel in this role, you should have excellent customer focus, communication, strategic skills, judgment/decision-making abilities, and flexibility. You should be part qualified to nearly/newly, with a minimum of 3 years of actuarial experience, along with good Excel, VBA, and Access skills. Experience using R and SQL is desirable.
