About the Role:

As a Pensions Actuarial Consultant, you'll engage with a diverse clientele, ranging from Trustee to Corporate, including some of the FTSE 100 companies. Here's what you can expect:

• Collaborate with clients on various scheme types and sizes.
• Participate in client meetings and present technical issues when necessary.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service.
• Support and manage a team to ensure timely and budget-friendly project delivery.
• Offer training and guidance to junior actuarial staff.
• Undertake core actuarial tasks such as valuations, solvency testing, and buy-in analysis.
• Prepare and review documents, calculations, and member communications.
• Monitor pension scheme funding levels and stay updated on industry developments.
• Contribute to new business opportunities and pitches.

Essential Requirements:

• Nearly qualified FIA or up to 4 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of the UK pensions industry.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
