Job Details

We have Partnered with a leading Lloyd's syndicate to find them a Senior Reserving Analyst to join their rapidly growing team. This position will collaborate with the Head of Reserving to expand their in-house reserving capabilities. The reserving responsibilities cover the syndicate's wide range of lines of business, and the successful candidate will be encouraged to contribute to other actuarial workstreams when possible. This role entails, but is not limited to:

  • Contribute to the development of in-house reserving processes in collaboration with external consultants, embedded IT developers within the actuarial team and the wider reserving functions.
  • Work closely with the reserving analyst and assist in their professional development.
  • Play a central role in producing the syndicates quarterly reserve estimates.
  • Prepare regular reports on reserves, claims experience and other reserving metrics for both reserving team and wider use
  • Contribute to the feedback loop between reserving, pricing, business planning and capital modelling.
