Pricing Senior Manager - Life Reinsurer

Our client, a global reinsurer, is looking for a Senior Manager within the Pricing team. In this position, your proficiency in pricing, product development, and experience analysis will be vital as you collaborate with Underwriting and Marketing teams to curate solutions that cater to the diverse needs of your clients throughout the region.

Responsibilities

Ensure effective and timely delivery of pricing terms and product development solutions to clients, maintaining high technical standards for experience analyses and producing high-quality pricing papers. Take ownership of ongoing treaty reviews, pricing recommendations, and reviews of pricing methodology and pricing models. Assist in marketing and business development efforts by fostering relationships with clients, and actively promoting your company's brand. This includes providing actuarial services, collaborating on reinsurance solutions in alignment with company standards, and partnering with clients to develop innovative business solutions. Advocate and present reinsurance solutions to specific clients or groups, propose new product concepts, and contribute to relationship-building within the team and with clients. Leverage technical expertise in client meetings and active participation in the Asian actuarial society. Stay well-informed about clients, regulatory changes, and trends in the reinsurance/insurance industry Apply actuarial judgement to consider and, when appropriate, incorporate these developments into the pricing of business Provide technical support, risk assessment, and pricing expertise to colleagues.

Requirements

Fully qualified Actuary (IOA / SOA / IOAA) A minimum of 5 years in the Life insurance industry Previous exposure to markets in the region will be an advantage Strong stakeholder management skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and business relationships with clients Well-rounder with technical expertise, business acumen and strong communication skills Self-motivated team player that is proactive and dedicated to contributing to the team
