A global advisory and broking business is looking to develop it's life reinsurance broking team. The team is looking for a SVP/Director to replace an internal move and a VP to cover maternity leave (this will be a FTC).

They recently won a large project to recapture a funded-re portfolio for a life insurer which involved tendering the reinsurance placement externally, balancing complex asset and liability concerns with the client's aims.

Day-to-day the role will involve:

·         Market research and segmentation, identifying opportunities to add value for global clients and developing marketing documents on reinsurance solutions.

·         Developing a network both internally and externally; both with (re)insurers, and working with global business units to identify opportunities.

·         Prospecting for new clients/business, including development of RFP responses, writing detailed proposals based on client analysis, and pitching for new business across various product lines.

This role will give you great visibility in the market and use your technical actuarial skills in a cutting edge commercial team that has already had great success.
