Finance Assistant - Leicester Based
We have partnered with a well-respected Insurance business in their search for a Finance Assistant. Following several high profile acquisitions, this PE backed insurer has grown across the UK and as such are looking for additional finance support for their Leicester hub. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a keen interest in securing a role with longevity and growth.
In this role your key duties will be:
- Reconciliation of Insurer Accounts to insurer statements ensuring all balances are reconciled/queried on a monthly basis.
- Meet the teams KPI's and reporting requirements.
- Report variable commission rates to management to investigate.
- Completion of daily client money bank reconciliation
- Dealing with internal and external queries
- Allocation of all Client/Insurer Receipts and Payments daily and in accordance with regulation and company processes.
The Ideal candidate will have sound bookkeeping and reconciliation experience and be comfortable dealing with different stakeholders. The business operates a hybrid working model but would like the team to be in the office 1 to 2 days per week.
