New Vacancy - Outwards Reinsurance Technician
City of London or Brighton / Hybrid
HFG are currently partnered with a top Lloyd's MGA who are looking to add a Outwards Reinsurance Technician to their team. They are looking for someone experienced in the outwards space who can come in and assist with mentoring the juniors in the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement procedures to accurately calculate the reinsurance asset and issue reinsurance recoveries.
- Successfully achieve individual and team objectives.
- Calculate reinsurance recoveries as needed.
- Evaluate the feasibility of releasing individual reinsurance recoveries.
- Prepare reinsurance billings and loss advices as necessary.
- Maintain records and respond to technical queries from reinsurers and/or brokers.
- Assist with credit control to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Assist with and manage commutations as required to achieve realistic values for the company's gross liabilities and ceded assets.
- Complete and report on assigned projects.
- Ensure effective and timely reporting as requested.
