Job Details
We have partnered with a dynamic specialty and commercial London Market business to find them their first in-house pricing actuary. This is a great opportunity to gain both the depth and breadth of Pricing needed to fast track to a Head of Pricing. The role is broad but includes:
- Develop and maintain pricing models for various insurance products
- Provide case pricing and analysis to underwriters
- Account/portfolio deep-dives (e.g. analysing trends, scenario analysis)
- Rate change and adequacy analysis
- Communicate insight and results of analysis with underwriters and other stakeholders
- Participate in data-driven projects, including predictive modelling and data analytics
- Utilise advanced statistical techniques to extract insights and inform business decisions
- Ad hoc modelling, analysis and data preparation to support other projects as needed
