BPA Pricing Actuary

Specialist pension insurer seeking BPA Pricing Actuary at a NNQ/qualified level for their team in London

Oliver James are pleased to be partnered with a specialist pension insurer seeking BPA Pricing Actuary at a NNQ/qualified level for their team in London.

Within this role you will be responsible for modelling scheme benefits based on benefit specifications provided by EBCs, Trust Deed & Rules and member data. You will carry out detailed due diligence on potential transactions, apply professional judgement to identify risks in relation to new deals, liaise with EBCs to clarify data and benefit features and communicate technical issues with an actuarial and non-actuarial audience.

Role requirements:

• NNQ/FIA qualified
• Excellent UK DB pensions knowledge from within a leading pensions consultancy
• Knowledge of the main features of DB pension benefits including GMP, Barber, revaluation and anti-franking
