New Vacancy - Professional Indemnity Underwriter
City of London / Hybrid
HFG are currently partnered with a leading London Market business, who are seeking a PI Underwriter to join their expanding team.
Due to the continuous growth of their PI book, they are seeking an experienced Underwriter with strong knowledge in the UK market. They write a variety of Construction, Solicitors, Accountants, so experience within these areas is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluating existing and new business to meet the targeted gross premium income according to the agreed Underwriting guidelines and Authorities.
- Assisting in the creation of the current year Business Plan.
- Regularly communicating with the underwriting team abroad to ensure proper operations and adherence to procedures and processes.
- Verifying the accuracy of IRIS Summary sheets before sign off.
- Strictly following Underwriting guidelines and producing weekly reports as required by UW authority.
- Developing relationships with Brokers/Clients.
- Organising and attending internal/external meetings with Brokers/Clients as necessary.
- Ensuring prompt and efficient service to Brokers with quick turnaround times.
