First In-house Capital Actuary

We have partnered with a market-leading MGA to find them their First in-house Capital Actuary. The successful candidate will be in charge of the operation, maintenance, and design of the Syndicate's internal model and all of its inputs and outputs, including the annual solvency return to Lloyd's. This position also includes, but is not limited to:

• Development of the Internal Model and associated processes in line with regulatory and business requirements.
• Ensuring governance processes are appropriately followed and data quality standards are met.
• Ensuring parameterisation processes are completed in time for model use and in line with specified standards.
• Reviewing model code and adjust where necessary.
• Documentation of the Internal Model and associated processes.
• Supporting the Internal Model Validation process.
• Performance of testing on model outputs to ensure appropriateness of model calibration.
• Reviewing model inputs and outputs and justify their appropriateness.
• Representing the Capital Modelling function at appropriate committees and forums.
