Are you a part-qualified or qualified actuary, familiar with the Longevity business from a technical experience analysis perspective?
Then this is an exciting growth opportunity within a major global firm where you will learn new skills while providing a high level of service to internal and external clients.
With strong analytical skills, the successful individual will be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Access and possess a good understanding of R, Python and/or SQL.
An insurance/reinsurance background is desirable, as is experience with Pensions and Annuities.
In this key role, you will lead the biometrics analysis for longevity and support an expanding line of business, working closely with both the Pricing and Longevity teams.
Checking and reviewing experience analyses for the Longevity business, you will ensure results of investigations are appropriately fed back to relevant stakeholders for the purposes of quotes, terms of trade and valuation assumptions.
You will also ensure systems and tools related to the Longevity processes and experience analyses are maintained.
In addition, you will improve processes and build tools to support digitisation, experience analyses and pricing capability.
