IFRS 17 Assistant Manager - Manager

Roles And Responsibilities * Lead a sub-workstream in the IFRS17 implementation project. * Develop the implementation guidelines around IFRS17. With exposure to senior management to assess the business impact * Prepare IFRS 17 transition opening balance sheet and participate in the end-to-end UAT testing for IFRS 17 subledger. * Manage Prophet modelling enhancement with proper governance and controls to meet reporting needs e.g. IFRS 17 * Perform financial impact analysis and prepare reports to senior management. * Manage ad-hoc projects and lead the continuous improvement in efficiency and quality of financial reporting. Minimum Job Requirements * University / College graduate in Actuarial Science, Mathematics and Statistics or related subject with at least 5 years' experience in life insurance industry. * Fellowship in a recognized international actuarial professional body/close to fellowship * Sound analytical, problem solving and communication skills. * Ability to deal with and handle multiple priorities. * Experience and knowledge in insurance product and actuarial reporting work in IFRS17 is an asset. * Proficiency in actuarial software, e.g., Prophet is an advantage.
