Job Details

One of the Lloyd's/London market's best-known brands is seeking a qualified actuary (or equivalent experience) to take a leading role on IFRS17 and related areas.

You will be the key point of contact for a number of teams on IFRS17 as well as supporting other actuarial functions on group duties.  Working closely with the head of reserving and other senior management, there will be responsibility for the design and implementation of processes and solutions across reserving, SII and IFRS17.

This will span both Lloyd's and company platforms, offering exposure across the group.  In addition to ensuring processes and strategy is in place for reporting, there will be opportunities to work on group reserving projects.

Ideally you will be a qualified actuary with knowledge of IFRS17 reporting standards as well as prior experience of reserving and SII reporting, such as technical provisions. However, applicants with reserving skills who want a broader role and to be a key part of ensuring this organisation has strength in reporting, they should also apply.
