Job Details
Reserving Manager sought by a top London Market and General Insurer. Our client is looking for an experienced Actuary with excellent knowledge of the reserving process to join them as a Reserving Manager.
Our client are looking for a Reserving Manager to assist the Head of Reserving with the design and implementation of process efficiencies relating to IFRS 17, Solvency II, and Reserving related areas.
Responsibilities of the Reserving Manager:
- Maintain and develop the Group's IFRS 17, reserving and technical provisions processes.
- Validate results and consolidate impacts across classes to assess impact at Group and Entity levels.
- Support the valuation of technical provisions on a Solvency II basis for each BSL syndicate.
- Review and challenge actuarial processes and raise suggestions/issues as appropriate with the Head of Reserving and management.
Key experience of the Reserving Manager:
- Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
- 5+ years of London Market/General Insurance experience within Reserving.
- Experience with standardised Reserving/IFRS17 methods.
