UK Head of Valuations

A leading player in the global Reinsurance market is seeking to recruit a new UK Head of Valuations.

As a Qualified Life Actuary (3-7 years PQE) you will have strong regulatory experience and a desire to either step into a "Head" of position for the first time or you will already utilise your extensive experience from a similar role.

The UK Head of Valuation is a key member of the UK business segment and the EMEA Valuation leadership team and you will be responsible for the delivery of actuarial work at the UK segment level and for upwards consolidation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Regional Head of Valuation - EMEA in performing their duties by providing business knowledge, summary analytics and further data and analysis as requested
• Support the Regional Head of Valuation - EMEA in developing any UK valuation capability to support EMEA, including working with other EMEA and global valuation teams
• Manage the UK valuation team, including training and development plus employment decisions including, but not limited to, hiring, evaluating, coaching, and disciplining direct reports.
• Responsible for the delivery and development of Management Information, including analysis, interpretation and guidance.
