Our client is seeking a part-qualified life actuary to undertake experience investigations to support changes to actuarial assumptions, controlling the data and assumptions feeding actuarial models.
Managing the monthly valuation data extraction and conversion process in line with regulatory and professional standards, you will perform strategic reviews of data and data investigations to support the quality of actuarial valuations.
You will also support the Group Finance Change Team with data aspects of projects such as migration, finance systems development and data governance.
In addition, you will perform operational work relating to quarterly Solvency II and balance sheet reporting, including data quality reviews to ensure data used in all work, including actuarial work, is complete, accurate and fit for use.
With good problem solving and data analysis skills, the successful candidate will have good knowledge of Excel, Word and databases coupled with experience of using an actuarial modelling system – e.g. Prophet, Mo.Net etc.
