Senior Analyst- Investment Strategy

Our client is a leading London insurer. They are looking for senior analyst to support the manager in managing investment portfolios, ensuring compliance with risk appetites. This role also involves collaborating with regulators and asset managers, owning the Market Risk component of Solvency II, and managing capital and Treasury functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the annual review of investment strategy, work on asset-liability matching (ALM) with Actuarial teams, monitor liquidity, and integrate Responsible Investment practices.
• Assess performance versus benchmarks, investment guidelines, and market risk and capital limits. Lead liquidity stress tests and maintain control framework.
• Prepare and verify management information and investment-related reports for regulatory and accounting purposes. Enhance reporting processes for efficiency.
• Support capital requirement-related work, including market risk for Standard Formula and Internal Model.
• Enhance investment monitoring and reporting framework, support business planning, and engage with key stakeholders.

Requirement:

• Degree or above
• Professional qualification in investment and actuarial would be preferred
• Solid experience in UK market with exposure to in insurance investment & ALM.
• Strong in numerical and financial analysis.
• Effective time management, Problem-solving skills, organizational and communication skills.
• Work independent and manage analyst
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
