Are you a qualified reporting actuary from a life/health background, seeking to take the next step on your career ladder within a major firm?

With advanced Excel skills coupled with excellent presentation skills, the successful candidate will be confident with working with coding tools (R, Python, SQL) to develop existing processes.
Previous management of students desirable, though not essential.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the delivery of key business planning processes while driving forward investigations into items, such as profitability and claims trends, to deliver relevant actuarial insight for the business.
Detail-oriented and comfortable with independent working, you will also complete the valuation of the firm, including recommending assumption changes and working with the audit and governance teams.
In addition, you will track and advise on current and expected experience variances relative to the assumptions and the implications for profitability.
