Senior Underwriter Non Life - German speaking markets

A re-insurer specialised on property & casualty and life & health reinsurance is looking for their new senior Underwriter to work on the German Markets : Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Switzerland. The role will be based in Paris.

The UW will report directly to the Head of the Business Unit and will be in charge to develop all non-life treaty business, analysing and proposing treaty terms and conditions for new business whilst working closely with actuaries. For non-renewal activities, the UW will develop knowledge of market dynamics to support the underwriting performance and strategy and will define client targets.

We are looking for an expert with at least 10 years minimum experience in reinsurance / insurance, preferably on the German speaking markets on the Non Life side. Fluent in German and English is mandatory.

You will be joining an international company located in over 80 countries. The role will be based in the City Centre of Paris.
