Senior Capital Actuary

Ogden Scott are working in partnership with a London Market insurance group who are seeking an experienced Capital Actuary to join their team. In this pivotal role, you would be reporting directly to the Head of Capital, acting as the sole owner of the submissions function for the Lloyds and EU business.

Duties include:

• The parameterisation, development and implementation of capital models;
• Spearheading Lloyd’s submissions and parametrisation for the capital function;
• Validate the company’s internal model, in collaboration with the Risk function, and provide documentation supporting modelling;
• Contribute to the regulatory reporting of functions such as Lloyd’s capital, LCR & Solvency II standard formula, and other submissions including PRA IMO.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified actuary (FIA, or equivalent) with 3-5 years of experience, have experience of working within Lloyds or the wider London Market, and have excellent communication skills.
