Job Details

Aptuary is working with a global insurance syndicate who are looking for a Reserving Manager to support their reserving processes and grow their business.

 

Role Overview:

  • Maintain the quarterly reserve review process, ensuring analysis performed is complete, accurate and appropriate and MI is up-to-date and delivers good insights
  • Able to maintain reporting of regulatory reporting requirements
  • Performing the regular calculation of Solvency II Technical Provisions in line with relevant guidance and external reporting requirements

 

Ideal candidate:

  • 3/4 years+ experience of Reserving General insurance reserving background, preferably with Lloyd’s market experience
  • Actuarial background, likely to be nearly or newly qualified but aptitude, attitude and experience are the priority
  • Experience of or motivated to manage others
  • An ability to assimilate complicated datasets into simple concepts
