Risk Manager – Strategic and Emerging Risks

Are you currently working in a risk management role with a quant or actuarial background? Or come from a more regulatory actuarial background in non-life insurance?   Bolton Associates are working with a global insurance company who are looking for an experienced individual to join it's strategic and risk function.   The successful candidate will be providing the quant capability as a key strategic tool to help manage, mitigate all of the risk across the business - the main focus is London, Lloyd's, Europe and APAC.   The role could suit someone already working for an insurance business or someone in a consulting role.  The business is valued at $22billion so this is a great opportunity for someone to really learn how a global organisation operates, taking into account the complexity and see worldwide dynamics. 

The role would involve: 

Stress and scenario testing, building the models and owning the framework

Utilising your quant skillset with a deep understanding of insurance and industry

Converse in different types of insurance

Consider risks the business needs to understand more

Consider stakeholders – bring the right people together from the design phase to quantifying it therefore the ability to collaborate and act as a team player is essential, you will also have an analyst to work with.
