Senior Actuarial Analyst - Financial Risk

Oliver James have partnered up with a leading provider in Life Insurance, Retirement and Annuities to appoint a Senior Actuarial Analyst within their Financial Risk team. The role is based in their London office and offers flexible working patterns (can be done remotely).

As a Senior Actuarial Analyst you will be a joining a team of actuaries supporting on Stress and Scenario testing, Asset Liability and Financial Reporting (IFRS 17 and Solvency II). You will also play a vital part in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and liaising with other teams such as their Investments team. This is a unique opportunity for any actuary seeking a role where every will be different!

What is required?

• Part Qualified up to Newly Qualified Actuary
• Understanding of Annuities and Financial Reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good technical background

This is an exceptional role for any part qualified up to newly qualified actuary looking for a varied actuarial role with an insurer and a good stepping stone into investments. The role will also offers study support for any student actuaries and a clear career progression pathway.
