Senior/ Reinsurance Expert

Join our clients globally successful team as a Senior Reinsurance Expert based in London, making a significant impact on the reinsurance purchasing for Long Tail lines. As the reinsurance liaison for Liability, Cyber, and Financial Lines, you'll steer the renewal process and develop metrics to evaluate each treaty placed.

In this role, you'll conduct regular meetings with liaisons from Liability, Cyber, and Financial Lines, ensuring seamless communication throughout the year. Coordinate and attend meetings with Reinsurers and Brokers, addressing critical topics and next steps. You'll manage correspondence with external partners, collecting essential information for the renewal submission.

Your expertise will shine as you oversee the treaty master list/database, update Overview Sheets, and monitor system entries. With a strong focus on quantitative analysis, you'll participate in Quarterly Claims Reserve meetings and provide expert insights into reinsurance practices and Actuarial/Risk Capital requirements.

As a successful candidate, you'll bring a university degree in Mathematics, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field, ideally backed by a professional insurance qualification. Your experience in Reinsurance, coupled with expert knowledge of reinsurance instruments and Actuarial principles, will make you an invaluable asset. Strong communication, analytical, and contract drafting skills will set you up for success in this dynamic and international environment.
