Step into a remarkable opportunity with our clients UK P&C Actuarial Reserving team in the Planning and Insights division. Collaborating with a dynamic group of professionals, you'll support Reserving and Planning exercises while communicating and reporting UK business results internally, to Group, and regulators. This role offers a unique perspective, overseeing all UK results and providing invaluable top-down insights.

Our client is looking for expertise in Reserving, IFRS17, and Pillar III reporting, including QRTs and NSTs exposure. Previous engagement with PRA supervision will be highly advantageous.

You'll enjoy location flexibility, as our clients Actuarial Reserving team spans 2 locations, including London, with the option to work remotely part of the time. They embrace diverse working arrangements, such as part-time, flexible hours, job share, and remote work, to attract the best talent.

As a key member of the team, you'll collaborate closely with the UK P&C Actuarial Reserving teams to drive Actuarial deliverables for their existing UK business. Reporting to the Head of Planning & Insight, you'll provide support in communicating IFRS17 results to stakeholders and ensure timely and accurate delivery of internal EMEA, Group, and regulatory requirements to the CBI and PRA.

Your role will involve presenting Planning and UK results to key stakeholders, assisting with the UK Actuarial Function Report, and clearly documenting and explaining assumptions. Collaborating with Reserving teams, Finance, Brexit, ZIP Head Office, and Group, you'll contribute to a well-rounded and comprehensive approach.

We seek a nearly/newly qualified actuary with IFRS17 and Pillar III regulatory reporting experience in the UK general insurance sector, including QRTs and NSTs. Your keen eye for compliance, numeracy skills, and analytical approach will be vital. Working knowledge of SQL, R, VBA, or equivalent coding languages will be beneficial.

Teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills are paramount, as you'll manage and support junior team members. Your professionalism, enthusiasm, and positive attitude will thrive in our fast-paced and adaptable environment.
