World-Leading Specialty Insurer - ALM within General Insurance

Clarence George is currently working on an exciting Market Risk opportunity with a world-leading specialty General Insurance (GI) company. The team are keen to see profiles from pensions, life, investments, or general insurance backgrounds alongside market risk and internal model experience. Please see some additional information about the role below:

 The Role:

• Support processes linked to market risk, monitoring, reporting and strategy and ALM
• Help to validate and document internal model processes
• Review quarterly calibrations of the Economic Scenario Generator (ESG)
• Clear career progression and excellent internal visibility

The Candidate:

• Ideally a nearly/newly qualified Actuary or comparable professional investment qualification
• Experience in ESG, market risk and internal model validation
• Open to life insurance, pensions, investment and general insurance backgrounds
• Familiar with Actuarial concepts relating to capital modelling
